Long Beach State opened the 2025 season with a 3-1 loss to Stanford on Friday night at Walter Pyramid, as the Beach took the opening set but came up short by a score of 18-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-20. The Beach will be back in action on Sunday at 4 p.m. against Oregon State.
