The first matches of the first round of Moore League girls’ golf concluded on Thursday at Recreation Park Golf Course with Wilson’s 229-273 victory over Long Beach Poly.
Wilson senior team captain Samantha Shaw earned the medalist honors with an even par score of 36 on the back nine. Her round featured birdies on holes 14,15, and 18.
The big league showdown is Tuesday when Wilson faces Millikan.
