Alex Austin was the only Jackrabbit selected in the NFL Draft, but three more Poly alums joined the NFL fraternity as they signed undrafted rookie contracts, joining the list of more than 80 Jackrabbits to make it to the NFL.

Camm McDonald was a standout for Poly who played his NCAA ball at Florida State. McDonald signed undrafted with the Green Bay Packers, continuing the century-old connection between the green and gold programs. Poly’s Marcedes Lewis recently had a long stint with the Packers as part of his historic career, but the connection dates back to the 1920s. Poly’s Roy “Bullett” Baker was one of the school’s first NFL products, and he was the QB of the Packers’ first NFL championship team in 1929.

Zion Bowens, a Poly receiver who also excelled at Hawaii, signed undrafted with the Commanders, and DeAndre Pierce got a rookie camp invite from the Raiders. Pierce is the son of former Poly coach Antonio Pierce, and had a nice college career at Boise State after graduating Poly.
