It was a wild winter for the Moore League, but not in girls’ basketball, where the story remained the same as it has for the last decade and a half: the Long Beach Poly girls’ basketball team won their 17th straight Moore League championship thanks to yet another 12-0 league performance.
The Jackrabbits haven’t lost a game in league since 2008, and own one of the longest league win streaks in California.
Poly will enter the Division 1 playoffs next week, with playoff brackets set to release on Sunday–we’ll have live updates of the bracket release.
Poly outscored their league opponents 794-274 this season, and were led by Brooklyn Taylor (15.3 points per game, 12.5 rebounds per game) as well as Andrea Perkins (11.4 ppg).
