Jordan Girls’ Basketball Make Playoffs For First Time Since 2015

The562’s coverage of Jordan Athletics is sponsored by John Ross, Class of 2013.

Jordan girls’ basketball coach Wesley Rosenbaum promised he’d rebuild the Panthers program when he took over during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they took a huge step in the right direction. After sweeping Millikan for the first time in 15 years, the Panthers clinched their first playoff appearance since 2015.

“I’m happy for the team,” said Rosenbaum.

Jordan won a thriller with the Rams, 47-43, on Thursday to clinch the Moore League’s fourth and final playoff spot behind Poly, Lakewood, and Wilson. They played the Bruins tough this season as well.

Playoff brackets will be released Sunday.
