Millikan girls’ golf fended off Long Beach Poly 185-196 for a Moore League win on Tuesday at El Dorado Golf Course. The round was shortened to seven holes because of inclement weather.
Poly junior Kate Montemayor was the medalist with a round of 3-over par. Millikan freshman Hailey Stoskopf was second with a 6-over par.
Millikan hosts Lakewood on Thursday at El Dorado while Poly hosts Cabrillo at Recreation Park Golf Course in the final matches of the regular season. The Moore League Individual Tournament starts Tuesday at Skylinks Golf Course.
