The Jordan girls’ volleyball program is growing under coach Justiniano Gerson, who has some key returners coupled with some talented newcomers to help give the Panthers a lift.

“I expect us to excel this year,” he said. “They’ve been practicing hard and getting better every day–I expect us to give teams more difficulty than we did last season.”

Leading the way for Jordan is senior libero Kaylee Teng, with sophomore Diamond Toomalatai handling the setting. Savannah Hernandez will start the year as the team’s best outside hitter, with Marlene Hernandez and freshman Julietta Cardenas Vidal adding depth as well.
