Lakewood Wrestlers Qualify For CIF State

Saiheron Preciado-Meza and Zainab Hakeem represented Lakewood wrestling very well at the CIF Masters meet over the weekend. Both of them qualified for the CIF State meet this weekend in Bakersfield.

Preciado-Meza (189 pounds) won the Masters championship by beating Gabby O’Connell from Lake Elsinore in the final. Hakeem (160 pounds) finished top four in the consolation bracket to punch a ticket to State.
