Girls’ Water Polo Preview: Millikan Rams

Millikan finished third in the Moore League last year with an overall record of 18-6, and head coach Jose Guzman has most of his starters back–that means don’t be surprised to see the Rams move up in league or make a big run in the CIF-SS Division 4 playoffs.

“There’s nothing we want more than to be Moore League champions and win our CIF division,” said Guzman. “Our returners have a chip on their shoulders.”

Millikan will look to seniors Jocelyn Kaveny, Katelyn Watkins, and Katelyn Weller to lead the way, as well as talented freshman Jennine Osorio.

“Most of our team is young, but they are mighty,” said Guzman. “These Millikan girls are not here to take part, they’re here to take over.”
