After falling literally one yard short of the state playoffs last week, it’s Silver Lining Saturday for the Long Beach City College football team this weekend as they host Southwestern College in the Southern California Bowl at Veterans Memorial Stadium at 6 p.m.
Despite last week’s loss, LBCC claimed a share of the conference championship and is trying to end the season with the school’s fifth bowl game win in six years.
