Cabrillo Compton Football

High School Football Preview: Compton vs. Cabrillo

Compton (5-4, 2-3) is trying to do something special tonight. As they host their Homecoming game, they have a chance to clinch a playoff berth for the first time since 2008. All they need to sew it up is a win over Cabrillo (2-7, 1-4).

Compton would go to 3-3 in league with a win. If Lakewood loses to Poly, even if Millikan beats Wilson, Compton would be tied for third place with Lakewood and Millikan. Because Compton beat both those teams head to head, Compton would still get the third playoff spot for the league.
