With a 14-4 win over Wilson last week, Long Beach Poly improved to 17-0 on the season, 12-0 in the Moore League. The win clinches the Jackrabbits’ fifth consecutive team league championship.
Poly was led by three doubles team sweeps with Men Phy/Isabella Feng, Sara Soderberg/Tara Rahai, and Lola Underwood/Dylan Dempsey all coming through with clean scores.
Moore League tennis fans have a lot to look forward to in the next few weeks. Billie Jean King Tennis Center will play host to the league singles and doubles tournament next week with the Finals on Friday, and soon after the CIF playoffs will start. Poly is No. 5 in Division 2 while Wilson is the top-ranked team in Division 3.
