Boys’ Volleyball: St. Anthony, Wilson Win

St. Anthony remained undefeated in league with an easy sweep of St. Paul, 25-10, 25-16, 25-15.

The Saints (21-3) were led by Nicky Mizraji, who had 13 kills and five aces, Aidan Grosz (seven kills), Brandon Barry (seven kills), and Eamon Pool-Harris (12 digs).

Wilson swept Long Beach Poly 25-19, 25-20, 25-19 to take firm hold of second place in the Moore League, one match behind Lakewood (Poly plays Lakewood on Thursday at home).

Josh Lambert led Wilson with 14 kills, backed up by nine kills from Robby Metscher and six kills from Alex Witz. Payne Lounsbery had five kills and two aces.

The Bruins were ranked No. 10 in CIF this week after upsetting the Lancers last week; Lakewood is No. 4 in CIF this week, falling from No. 1.
