Long Beach State Wins Two More Awards

Long Beach State men’s volleyball should be anticipating a lot of postseason honors, and junior Kyle Ensing kicked off awards season on Tuesday with the 2018 Bryan Ivie Award, presented by Off The Block, and given to the nation’s best opposite.

Ensing is top-15 in the nation with a .357 attack percentage, and has tallied 18 double-figure kill matches. He also became the 22nd player in school history to reach 1,000 kills in his career.

Track & Field sprinter Courtne’ Davis won the Big West Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season after she finished first in three different events at the Beach Invitational at Jack Rose Track last weekend. Davis won the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash and the 4×100 relay.
