Long Beach City College women’s beach volleyball (13-1, 4-0) won their tenth and eleventh consecutive matches by defeating Mt. San Antonio College (5-0) and El Camino College (3-2) on Friday morning at Granada Beach. Great action shots from our own Stephen Dachman.
Wilson boys’ lacrosse beat Long Beach Poly 9-8 in overtime at Cabrillo High on Friday. Charley Littleworth scored the game-winning goal. Kyle Paz scored four goals for Wilson while Malachi Valenzuela-Mier added a pair. Wilson goalkeeper John Legaspi had 20 saves.
