The next three home games for Long Beach State men’s basketball will tell fans a lot about this group’s chances at making noise in March.
LBSU (11-7, 3-3) is the highest scoring team in the Big West Conference, and is also the worst defense in terms of points allowed. Tonight at 7 p.m. the Beach gets a big test against Hawaii (10-7, 2-3) and its top-ranked defense. The next two home games are against Big West leaders UC Irvine (Jan. 25) and UC San Diego (Feb. 3).
Hawaii has beaten LBSU in five of their last six meetings.
