Five Dirtbags pitchers combined to scatter six hits and strike out nine in the Long Beach State 6-3 win on Tuesday at Pepperdine.

Van Larson and Owen Geiss both pitched three innings for the Dirtbags, and Geiss ended up getting the win after striking out five. Nick Williams, Jonathan Largaesada and Mike Villani all pitched an inning each out of the bullpen.

John Newman Jr. gave LBSU a lead in the first inning before Adrian Lopez and Jack Hammond both hit home runs in the third to give the Dirtbags pitchers all the cushion they needed.

LBSU (15-10-1, 4-5) is hosting UC San Diego this weekend.
