Bailey Pewitt, Long Beach Poly Basketball

Bailey Prewitt led the Jackrabbits in their huge win against Lakewood with 15 points and 19 rebounds, which clinched yet another Moore League championship for the Jackrabbits.

Nyemah King, Lakewood Basketball

Nyemah King scored 30 points for Lakewood in a big win over Jordan to wrap up the Moore League’s second seed heading into the playoffs.

Lincoln Dean, Cabrillo Basketball

Jaymari Redmond, Jordan Basketball

Jaymari Redmond was electric for the Panthers in their win over Lakewood last week, spoiling the Lancers’ title hops and clinching third place and a playoff spot for Jordan.

Jermonie Billingsley, Wilson Water Polo

Wilson senior Jermonie Billingsley is headed to Long Beach State next year, but has work to do in high school first. On Senior Night she led Wilson to yet another league title as she had four goals and five steals/blocks in the win.

Emily Frost, Millikan Soccer

Millikan Emily Frost was great for the Rams in a Moore League-clinching victory over Wilson last night, playing well in the field and also scoring a goal.

Rhona Cook, Long Beach State Tennis

Senior Rhona Cook led from the front while guiding Long Beach State to their first conference win of the season over UC Riverside. Cook had a dominant win in both singles and doubles, starting the day with a 6-1 win in doubles with Rhona Cook before taking down Brionna Nguyen 6-2, 6-1 in singles to spark a 7-0 sweep of the Highlanders.
