Long Beach State men’s basketball returns to Walter Pyramid today for a Big West clash with UC Riverside. Tipoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
The Beach (10-5, 2-1) is coming off a win at Cal Poly where the Ivory Coast combo of Aboubacar Traore and Lassina Traore took the game over again. Aboubacar scored a career-high 30 points while Lassina had 20 points and 19 rebounds for his eighth double-double of the season. Aboubacar is top 5 in conference scoring, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks.
UC Riverside (6-9, 1-2) has won its last two meetings with LBSU. The Highlanders are led by Isaiah Moses (13 ppg) who scored 21 points in the 79-77 win over UC Santa Barbara last weekend.
