HIGH SCHOOL

Kane Young, Jordan Basketball

Kane Young helped lead his team to a landmark win over Long Beach Poly this week with a game-high 17 points on the road against the Jackrabbits.

Sergio Flores, Millikan Soccer

Sergio Flores scored the game-winner in the 77th minute to push Millikan past Wilson and keep the Rams in the forefront of the Moore League title hunt.

Cristina Jones, Lakewood Basketball

Lakewood proved themselves to be the top title contender in the Moore League to challenge perennial champion Long Beach Poly. The Lancers defeated Wilson thanks in part to 24 points from Jones.

Sydney Trump, Millikan Soccer

Senior captain Sydney Trump netted the winner for Millikan in the 41st minute in a huge result for the Rams against Wilson, keeping Millikan alone in first place in the Moore League.

Harper Hogan, Long Beach Poly Water Polo

In a big Moore League-opening win, Poly scored 12 goals but were led by Harper Hogan who netted a hat trick with three.

Avery Jensen, Millikan Water Polo

Millikan got a total team effort in a win over Lakewood at the Moore League Showcase, and it was Avery Jensen leading the way with a team-high five goals.

Aidan Gomez, Millikan Wrestling

In a high-intensity match, sophomore Aidan Gomez came up with a pin in his 182-bout to swing things for Millikan in their team win over Wilson.
