Bryson Financial Sponsors Cross Country/Track & Field Coverage For 2022-23

The562 is pleased to announce that our cross country and track and field coverage for the 2022-23 school year will be sponsored by Bryson Financial, as they continue and expand their cross country sponsorship from last year.

Bryson is a local leader in financial and insurance services, serving the Long Beach community since 1969. Bryson’s CEO, Trent Bryson, has been with the company for more than two decades and is an active member of Long Beach’s non-profit community, serving as a board member and chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Long Beach.

“We’re so happy to have Bryson back with us to sponsor our cross country and track and field coverage,” said publisher Andy Kerr. “They were the first to sign up for our sport-specific sponsorships last school year, and that initiative has become a big part of how we keep our coverage free and accessible to all readers. We’re so grateful for their support.”

Bryson’s sponsorship will help support The562’s XC/track coverage with articles, photos, videos, feature stories, and more.

“I appreciate the562’s coverage of all sports and that they cover cross country and track and field with the same level of excitement and passion that they cover football,” said Bryson. “We’re pleased to support their coverage of Long Beach kids and teams once again.”As a non-profit news outlet, The562 depends on reader support and sponsorships in order to cover the Long Beach community.
