LBUSD’s Annual Education Celebration Goes Virtual as of Jan. 29

The Long Beach Unified School District (LBUSD) Education Celebration is a fantastic opportunity to give parents and students a glimpse into our outstanding schools and programs in a virtual setting. Each year, LBUSD shares the very best that early learning (preschool and kindergarten), elementary, middle, and K-8 schools have to offer incoming students. During this year’s virtual Education Celebration, we are confident that you’ll see why LBUSD schools are among the best and brightest in the State, and what makes us so proud of our students.

“Education Celebration is an opportunity for families who may be unfamiliar with all that LBUSD schools have to offer, to experience the high-quality programs, teaching and learning that goes on every day.”, Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Jill Baker said.

In years past, the event has been held in person, but due to the surge of COVID-19 cases, families and community members can access the event virtually by going to www.lbschools.net/edcelebration on Saturday, Jan. 29. The theme for this year’s event is “Celebrate the Possibilities!” Join us any time on Saturday or beyond to learn how our schools are striving for equity and excellence every day.
