It’s fair to say that Long Beach boys’ soccer is elite.

The Moore League is one of only a handful of CIF Southern Section leagues that have all of its teams in Division 3 or higher. Wilson, Millikan and Cabrillo are all in Division 1. Long Beach Poly, Jordan and Lakewood are in Division 2, and Compton is in Division 3.

Of the over 70 leagues in CIF-SS, the Moore and the Mission leagues are the only ones with seven teams all in Division 3 or above.
