The Cabrillo boys’ water polo team easily won its playoff opener on the road against West Covina in Division 6. The Jags led wire to wire in a 16-4 victory.

Cabrillo was led by Mateo Jimenez’s 8 goals, with Tlaloc Morales and Gabriel Castanada posting four goals each.

Cabrillo will stay on the road in the second round as they visit Arroyo Valley in the second round on Thursday.
