The 2021 high school football season starts with an evenly matched opponent for the Jordan Panthers as they host Kennedy tonight. Kickoff is scheduled for 7.
It’s been more than decade since Jordan or Kennedy have finished a season with a winning record, and the Panthers are hoping to get off on the right foot by once again relying on a strong rushing attack.
The last time these two teams met, Jordan beat Kennedy 26-7 on the road in the 2019 season opener. The Panthers defense came up with four interceptions in the game and shut out the Fighting Irish in the second half while Jordan ran for 251 yards and two touchdowns as a team. It was the Panthers first win in two years.
