Millikan Girls’ Lacrosse Back In Action

After having its first five games cancelled the Millikan girls’ lacrosse team returned to DeHaven Stadium over the weekend. The Rams fell to the El Segundo Eagles 19-3. Celeste Salazar, Finley Martin and Karina Barone scored for Millikan.

Six players from Millikan had a shot on goal and the Rams were able to win a quarter of draws thanks to Carly Brenner. Both Millikan goalies Alondra Pinzon and Hailey Hartley saw playing time and combined for nine saves.

Millikan coach Ariana Estrada and star middie Finely Martin said their team needs to work on its transition game.

Millikna hosts El Dorado today at 4:00 p.m.
