Kyle Johnson, Long Beach Poly Cross Country
Long Beach Poly senior Kyle Johnson won his first career varsity race last week in leading the Jackrabbits to a team victory over Lakewood. Johnson ran a 17:34 over Poly’s 5K campus course, tops among all finishers.
COLLEGE
Clay Seeber, Long Beach State Golf
Sophomore Clay Seeber finished in second place at the Sacramento State Invitational, shooting a 6-under 66 in the first round and finishing 10-under for the tournament.
