LBUSD Announces Schools Will Remain Closed Until March 1

The Long Beach Unified School District announced Monday afternoon that its campuses will remain mostly closed until at least March 1, an extension of the previous re-opening date of Jan. 28 by a little more than a month.

The campuses will continue to allow Kids Club and other day-care programs that are currently operating–about 1,600 of the district’s 70,000 students are on campus in those programs.
