The Jordan Panthers finished in the bottom half of the Moore League last year and missed the playoffs just two seasons after winning a CIF Southern Section Division 1 playoff game.
Panthers captain Charlie Ulloa will lead the way for this new, hungry squad.
Jordan opened the season with a 4-2 over Schurr last week, and will face other local nonleague opponents Lawndale, Peninsula and Artesia before opening league play at Cabrillo on Dec. 18.
