Two days after a long round trip to Bakersfield to collect a dominant win in the state playoff opener, the Long Beach Poly girls’ volleyball team is back on the bus for the second round of the CIF State playoffs.

The Jackrabbits will travel to Sierra Canyon for a 6 p.m. match Thursday evening. The Mustangs are the top-seeded team in the Division 1 bracket. The winner of tonight’s match will face the winner of Mira Costa and Vista Murrieta; Poly would be on the road on Saturday with a win over Sierra Canyon Thursday.
