After an exciting regular season in Long Beach for boys’ water polo, three teams are set to start the CIF-SS playoff this week, as Wilson, Millikan, and Long Beach Poly will all host first-round games on Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. Second round games will be Thursday, with quarterfinals on Saturday for all who advance.
Wilson is seeded No. 1 in Division 3 and will open up against Malibu at the Belmont. Millikan, in Division 4, will host Carpinteria. Poly, in Division 5, will host Buena in a game played at Cabrillo High.
We’ll have previews of the games up on Tuesday and coverage of all three.
