It was a rollercoaster night at George Allen Field. Long Beach State soccer saw Cherrie Cox score her 37th goal in the 75th minute of a game against Bakersfield, giving her the new all-time career goals record. However, the Roadrunners equalized eight minutes later to force a 1-1 draw, which prevented the Beach from making the Big West Tournament.
Long Beach finishes the season at 9-5-6, 3-4-4 in conference.
