Five Long Beach girls’ volleyball teams will play in Wednesday evening’s CIF volleyball playoffs in the quarterfinal round. All matches will begin at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The winners from Wednesday evening’s matches will advance to Saturday’s semifinals and, just as important, they’ll clinch a berth in the state tournament set to begin in two weeks.
