The Crosstown Cup is on the line as LBCC hosts Cerritos College on Saturday at 6 p.m. in the Vikings’ annual homecoming game.
LBCC will also host a Homecoming tailgate from 4-5:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Vikings are coming off a narrow defeat at No. 1-ranked Riverside, where LBCC led until a go-ahead touchdown for the Tigers with 25 seconds left.
The tailgate will feature food trucks, games, and a live band and both students and alumni will receive free food vouchers.
Last season, the Vikings defeated the Falcons 46-32. Kickoff for the Homecoming game will be a 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $5 for seniors and children, free for students and Alumni Association members.
