High School Football Preview: Jordan vs. Compton

Tonight’s clash between Jordan (3-2, 0-2) and Compton (3-2, 0-1) is a classic “GPS Game,” between two teams that are trying to figure out exactly where they are. Both teams had a 3-0 start to the season in non league action, and both had playoff aspirations three weeks into the season.

But both teams have lost lopsided contests in the Moore League games they’ve played, with Jordan losing to to Millikan and Lakewood by a combined score of 89-19 and Compton lost to Wilson 55-14. Compton had a bye week last week to rest and get healthy for this one.

One of them will get their first league win tonight, but the road won’t get easier for either. Compton will travel to Millikan next week while Jordan will host Wilson.
