The Vikings face a huge test this evening at Veterans Memorial Stadium as they host Riverside in a matchup of top 15 state programs.
LBCC is 2-1 with a narrow loss to Mt. SAC, and needs a win against the Tigers to help shore up their postseason prospects. The Vikings offense has been on a roll with Drake Peabody taking snaps, averaging 42.7 points per game and 432 yards per game. The last time they hosted the Tigers, it was a thrilling overtime LBCC victory.
The Vikings and Tigers game will start at 5 p.m. at Vets.
Next week, LBCC will take a short road trip to Cerritos to renew their rivalry with the Falcons.
