The Hub City Classic championship is on the line tonight at Dominguez High where the Compton Tarbabes are trying to take down the Dons and win the cities rivalry series for the first time in a decade.
These two schools haven’t played each other since 2015 when Dominguez won a third consecutive meeting by a lopsided score. Compton last beat the Dons 14-10 in 2012.
Compton is 2-0 for the first time in eight years after wins over Centennial and Santa Monica. The Tarbabes defense has only allowed six points.

Dominguez (1-1) opened the season with a 47-0 win over Morningside, but fell last week 62-38 at Banning.
