PREVIEW: Long Beach Poly, Lakewood Clash for Basketball Title

Tonight’s game at Lakewood at 6:30 p.m. between the Lancers and Long Beach Poly will have a lot at stake. The Jackrabbits have already clinched a share of their 14th consecutive Moore League championship, but they can win it outright with a victory. Lakewood, meanwhile, could earn a co-championship with Poly with a win. It would be the Lancers’ first league title since they shared the Moore League crown with Jordan in 2004-05, with Pat Rembert leading the way.

Poly has been playing great defense in the league the last two weeks, but Lakewood is by far the best scoring team after the Jackrabbits, so it should be a fun clash of styles.

We’ll have live updates available on the website.
