Twenty-Five Long Beach Entries Head to Fresno For CIF State Track & Field Meet

The562’s cross country and track & field coverage is sponsored by Joe Carlson & Debbie Hughes.

Twenty-five Long Beach entries will compete at this weekend’s CIF State Track and Field Championships, with prelims Friday night and Finals on Saturday. Wilson leads the way with 14 entries, almost entirely on the girls’ side. The Bruins will look to win a fourth straight state title, which would make them just the second in state history to do so (alongside league mate Long Beach Poly).

Wilson are the favorites to win the team race this year, highlighted by a four-entry 400 meter Bruin coronation.

The562 will be on site with full article, video, and photo coverage of this weekend’s action.
