The Lakewood Lancers got back into the win column on Friday night with a 49-7 victory over the Cabrillo Jaguars at John Ford Stadium.

The Lancers got a big night from senior QB Kade Casillas, who had six total TDs–four through the air and two on the ground.

Casillas connected twice with WR Kenny Niumatavaelu for scores, and also tossed TD passes to Kagiso Boikanyo and Taeshaun Dunn. Sophomore running back Cedric Lane added a TD run for the Lancers.

Cabrillo was able to put together some quality drives in the second half–one of which ended in an interception by Lakewood’s Terrish Weston in the end zone. But the Jags were able to convert on their other scoring opportunity as QB Fernando Leanos threw for a fourth quarter TD.

Lakewood (4-3, 2-1) will visit Jordan next Friday night while Cabrillo (1-6, 0-3) will visit Wilson.
