The Lakewood Lancers (3-3, 1-1) are back at John Ford Stadium on Friday night, hosting the Cabrillo Jaguars (1-5, 0-2) in a 7 p.m. Moore League clash.

Lakewood is coming off a home loss against Long Beach Poly last Friday night, snapping their modest two-game winning streak. The Lancers won this matchup 49-0 last season and are looking to get on a roll to finish the year strong and punch their ticket back to the postseason.

On the other side, Cabrillo just scored its highest point total (27) since their 34-8 win over LA Jordan. The trouble was, they surrendered 48 points in a league loss against Compton.

The Jags will have a tough task against a Lakewood team with some exciting playmakers. So far this season the Lancers have scored 31 points or more in their three wins and have scored just seven points combined in their three losses.
