The Millikan boys’ soccer program continued its terrific run of success this season, securing a fourth consecutive Moore League title in impressive fashion.

The Rams haven’t lost a league match in more than two years and counting, posting another 10-0-2 record in 2026–identical to their mark from a season ago.

“I am extremely proud of this team,” said head coach Jeff Schofield. “We faced adversity early in league play with two ties, but the group stayed confident and responded by winning 10 straight matches. Anytime you go undefeated and win a league title, it’s a special accomplishment.”

Millikan finished with 32 points to top the table, which was also their goal differential against a deep and talented Moore League. The Rams scored 38 goals against their local rivals while only conceding six.

The Rams scored multiple goals in all 10 of their victories, a run which they will carry into the CIF-SS playoffs next week. They finished the regular season with a pair of 3-0 road wins over Compton and Cabrillo, giving them six clean sheets in their last eight times out.

“I am especially happy for our seniors,” added Schofield. “When I took over the program, we spent time developing a team motto and chose ‘Legacy of Champions.’ The idea was to honor the standard this program has built while also challenging our players to think about what legacy they want to leave behind.”

The Class of 2026 leaves Millikan with four league titles and only two losses against Moore League teams over their four-year careers. A noteworthy run in the league’s most competitive sport from top to bottom.

Millikan ends the 2026 regular season with a 19-3-2 record and will learn their postseason draw on Saturday morning when brackets are released.
