Coach Adam Wadley’s squad finished fourth in the Moore League, but once again find themselves in a winnable CIF-SS bracket under the competitive equity playoff format.

The Lancers prevailed in an emotional fifth set thriller, taking the victory 29-27, 21-25, 25-19, 14-25, 19-17.

The Lancers were led by Aaryn Hunter’s 11 kills, Alizae Leilua’s 18 digs and seven aces, Trinity Tagaloasa’s 14 kills and 13 dogs, and Joleen Ong’s 17 digs and two aces.

The Lancers will now come home on Thursday as they host Providence High.
