Moore League girls’ golf had an eventful day on the green, with Millikan and Wilson both picking up big wins.
The Rams hosted Long Beach Poly at El Dorado Golf Course, where they outshot the Jackrabbits 226-286. This win allowed Millikan to sweep the Moore League girls’ golf season in undefeated fashion for the second year in a row.
Once again, Millikan saw success from two of their big golfers in senior Hailey Stoskopf and sophomore Jasmine Lim. Stoskopf led the Rams on the day, shooting a 3 over par 39 while Lim contributed with a 43. Gabrielle Gales was the low golfer for Long Beach Poly, shooting a 45.
Wilson also picked up a big Moore League win over Cabrillo at Recreation Park. The Bruins were led by the class of 2026 as they celebrated their Senior Night.
Team captain Charlotte White was Wilson’s medalist, shooting a couple birdies, including an impressive shot on hole #2 from well off the green.
This win moved the Bruins up to 5-2 in Moore League play, and they will look to keep improving when they tee off with Lakewood on Monday.
But, the main focus will be on the Moore League Individual Tournament. The three day event begins Tuesday at Skylinks.
