The562 is proud to announce Watersafe Swim School as its newest sport-specific sponsor. Watersafe Swim School will sponsor all coverage of water polo and swimming throughout the 2025–26 school year.
Founded in Long Beach in 1977, Watersafe Swim School provides swim lessons and specializes in drowning prevention for infants/toddlers. Watersafe recently moved its location of over 30 years from Seal Beach to Long Beach, and they’re excited to be closer to their Long Beach families and continue to provide to the community.
“We wouldn’t exist without the generosity and support from local businesses like Swimsafe, and we’re thrilled to welcome them as our latest sport-specific sponsor,” said The562’s Publisher Andy Kerr. “We’re excited to establish a connection with a business founded in the city of Long Beach, and one rooted so deeply in the families within the community.”
Watersafe’s sponsorship will help support The562’s aquatic coverage with articles, photos, videos, feature stories, and more. Long Beach has produced more aquatic athletes, coaches and officials who have become Olympians, World and National Champions, and World and National Record breakers, than any other city in the USA.
