We’ve got a record five Long Beach teams in the CIF State playoffs and they all have opening-round games this evening, and would all play on Thursday if they advance to the second round.

Boys’ Basketball

Division 1: No. 14 St. Anthony at No. 3 Mater Dei, 7pm

Division 2: No. 5 Long Beach Poly vs. Bakersfield Christian, 7pm

Girls’ Basketball

Division 1: No. 10 St. Anthony at No. 7 Brentwood School, 7pm

Division 2: No. 5 Lakewood vs. No. 12 Serra, 7pm

Boys’ Soccer

Division 4: No. 3 Lakewood vs. No. 6 Mission Bay, 5pm
