The win was also the Beach’s first victory over Hawaii in 11 tries, a streak that dates back to 2016.

Long Beach State improved to 9-5 overall and are now tied with Hawaii for second in conference thanks to the 25-22, 26-24, 25-21 victory.

The Beach was led by Abby Karich (13 kills) and Natalie Glenn (11 kills). Setter Zayna Meyer had 32 assists in the win.
