It’s the first full Friday night of the high school football season, and we’ll be out covering Long Beach teams in multiple states tonight! Millikan is in Honolulu to take on Punahou, starting at 6 p.m. PT. On the mainland, St. Anthony is hosting Jefferson in the brand new Clark Field at 7 p.m. and Jordan will be hosting North Torrance at 7 p.m.

Tyler Hendrickson was born and raised in Long Beach, and started covering sports in his hometown in 2010. After five years as a sportswriter, Tyler joined the athletic department at Long Beach State University in 2015. He spent more than four years in the athletic communications department, working primarily with the Dirtbags baseball program.
