The 6th Tool 12s travel baseball team based out of the Los Altos program at El Dorado Park had a successful summer, capped with a win at the NCS San Diego World Series last week. The Long Beach kids had a great tournament and brought home the Division 1 championship.

The team is managed by Dwayne Fowler with assistant coach Josh Cisneros.

The players are Kruz Cisneros, Hudson Sannes, Canon Glasband, Matthew Palonco, Axel Johnston, Julian Chanfreu, Jacob Lynch, Parker Johnson, Gregory Dillon, Lucas Wadleigh, Cruz Magallanes, Carson Fitzpatrick, Nicolas Garcia, and Sammy Pena.

An LBC native, Mike Guardabascio has been covering Long Beach sports professionally for 13 years, with his work published in dozens of Southern California magazines and newspapers. He's won numerous awards for his writing as well as the CIF Southern Section’s Champion For Character Award, and is the author of three books about Long Beach history.
