The Heartwell PONY 13s All Stars defeated Covina in the championship game of the PONY Super Regional Tournament. The Heartwell kids now advance to the West Zone Tournament trying to advance to the PONY World Series. The game drew a huge crowd including the Heartwell 14s who came to cheer on their fellow players.
The team is managed by Lucky Foster with assistants Jeff Van Fossen and David Montano. The players are Jack Walsh, Andrew Medina, Marc James, Ismael Santillan, Damian Vargas, Cameron Powell, Trevor Torres, Jordan Rivers, Anthony Carillo, Cameron Bui, Nicolas Seib, Dylan Stubblebine, Alan Machado, Isaiah Heis, and Joaquin Gutierrez.
